Hired Gun
Taken from the lore of the old west, the “hired gun” was usually brought in to help ranchers and business owners protect their properties and business from outside forces and events. The 21st century equivalent is where someone is brought in to help the business owner to:
· Collect Receivables
· Streamline Payables and re-negotiate terms
· Analysis of, and implementation of the Dunning process (This is done using a “tiered” approach)
· Become the Owner’s Proxy or Clone
· Implement changes or the directives of the Business Owner
· ...and generally help the Business Owner to get things done!
